The Apple Lesson
I recently sold this painting at the St. Francis Art Show. The title reflects a personal lesson: initially the apple was cadmium red light and the lemons were, well, lemon yellow. I kept studying the painting until I realized they did not belong. Once I changed the colors, it worked!
